BIG SKY WOMEN’S TOURNEY: No. 1 Idaho goes down

No. 1 Idaho came into the game sinking an NCAA-best 11.7 3-pointers per game. Taylor Pierce has hit more than 450 triples in her legendary career and senior teammate Mikayla Ferenz has made 400 more.

In the semifinals of the Big Sky Tournament, Portland State’s stout zone held Idaho to 6-of-29 from deep on the way to a 75-59 win to knock off the regular-season Big Sky champs.
