PRESS CONFERENCE: Portland State 71, Sac State 67

Sacramento State cut an 18-point lead to one point with 3:20 left before Portland State true freshman Holland Woods scored 11 straight points to close out the No. 6 Vikings’ 71-67 win over the 11th-seeded Hornets to punch a ticket in Thursday’s quarterfinal against Eastern Washington.

Portland State head coach Barret Peery, Holland Woods and senior Bryce Canda plus Sac State head coach Brian Katz, senior Justin Strings and freshman Bryce Fowler address the media following Tuesday’s final first round game.
