J.P. Flynn feels the sense of urgency because of the mentors that surround him.

The Montana State junior offensive guard is the lone non-senior on Montana State’s offensive line. Senior tackle John Weidenaar, the junior left guard’s partner in crime on the left side of MSU’s offensive line, may have a chance to play on Sundays. Other than that, each matchup, each practice, each day on the calendar is an anniversary of the end of their football careers. Montana State will likely have to run the table during the season’s final five weeks to help extend the football careers of center Joel Horn, right guard Kyle Godecke and right tackle Alex Eekhoff.
