Kuresa named Big Sky Newcomer of the Year

Alex Kuresa, a Snow Junior College transfer who also formerly played wide receiver at BYU, completed 115 of 204 passes for 1,870 yards & 16 touchdowns while running 144 times for 707 yards and  seven touchdowns. He totaled 2,577 yards and 23 touchdowns, averaging 234 yards of total offense per game for the 9-2 Portland State Vikings, who earned the No. 6 seed and a first-round bye in the FCS Playoffs.
