Montana State’s women’s basketball team used a surgical third quarter to open up a 19-point lead on the way to a 72-63 victory over Montana in Missoula on January 21, 2023.
The victory is Montana State’s eighth in the last nine rivlary matchups with the Lady Griz and the 11th in the last 13 overall. MSU has now won four straight and sits at 6-2 in league play, 13-7 overall. UM falls to 4-4 in league play, 8-11 overall.
Following the game, Montana State head coach Tricia Binford plus seniors Darian White and Kola Bad Bear along with Montana head coach Brian Holsinger plus freshmen Mack Konig & Libby Stump addressed the media.
