AKEM’S ANALYSIS: UTRGV SETTING THE STANDARD, NEC STRENGTH OF SCHEDULE, ATTENDANCE LEADERS IN THE FCS

In this week’s Akem’s Analysis, I look at the NEC’s strength of schedule and what that means for them heading into the 2006 season. This is considered to be the weakest conference in the FCS, but they still have an AQ bid, so let’s discuss what it will look like for them. UTRGV continues to set the standard for all of the budding teams in the FCS. Attendance, facilities, stadium renovations, recruiting. They are looking to continue to set the bar high.
