Montana State, the defending Big Sky Conference regular-season and tournament champions, made short work of Northern Colorado in a rematch of last year’s championship game. The Bobcats moved into the semifinals for the third year in a row with a 84-73 win over UNC.
MSU will play the winner of No. 3 Weber State and No. 6 Sac State. Following the game, Montana State’s RaeQuan Battle, Caleb Fuller and Danny Sprinkle plus Northern Colorado’s Dalton Knecht, Daylen Kountz and head coach Steve Smiley addressed the media.
