BIG SKY CONFERENCE MEDIA RELATIONS
The third edition of the Road to Reno begins on December 28 as the Big Sky Conference men’s basketball league season tips off. The league will continue its Thursday–Saturday format with travel partners during the 2017-18 season.
Montana heads to Northern Arizona while Montana State faces Southern Utah in the league’s opening contests on December 29. North Dakota begins its Big Sky Conference championship defense on December 29 with a home game against Idaho.
Travel partners are utilized for two-game road trips to maximize rest and limit travel and missed-class time. Travel partners will face each other twice during the regular season in a home-and-home format.
Game times for the 2017-18 Big Sky Conference season will be added at a later date. Dates and times of all games are subject to change. All Big Sky Conference games can be seen on WatchBigSky.com. The 2017-18 non-conference season begins in mid-November.
The Reno Events Center in Reno, Nev., will host the Big Sky Conference Men’s Basketball Championship March 6, 8-10 for the third consecutive year.
