Big Sky women’s tourney presser: MSU outlasts UI, advances to chipper

The second-seeded Montana State women’s basketball team emerged from a back and forth, exciting Big Sky Conference tournament semifinal game with a 73-67 victory over No. 6 Idaho.

The Bobcats advance to the Big Sky Tournament championship for the fourth time under 17th-year head coach Tricia Binford and will meet NAU in the championship game at 1 p.m. on Friday.

Following the game, Binford, MSU junior point guard Darian White and sophomore forward K.J. Limardo along with Idaho head coach Jon Newlee, junior forward Beyonce Bea and senior Allison Kirby addressed the media.
