The experience of playing for a program under the direction of a new head coach will be a new one for most of the Montana State Bobcats. Although Brian Campbell will be a walk-on when MSU opens fall camp under first-year head coach Jeff Choate on August 6, he will be undergoing a similar experience for the second straight year.
After building Kentwood (Covington, Washington) High into one of the South Puget Sound League’s top programs and posting 11 consecutive winning seasons, Rex Norris resigned just before Campbell’s senior season last fall. Mike Bush, a former two-sport standout at Washington State, took the helm at Kentwood, sparking a sea of change.
