Cat-Griz women’s hoops: Lady Griz drill Bobcats, snap losing streak to MSU

Montana snapped a seven-game losing streak to Montana State with a 71-57 victory over MSU in Missoula on February 26, 2022.

Carmen Gfeller poured in 34 points and grabbed eight rebounds while Sophia Stiles celebrated her senior night with 13 points, eight rebounds and five assists to lead UM to its first win over MSU during her career.

Following the game, first-year Lady Griz head coach Brian Holsinger, Stiles and Gfeller along with Montana State 17th-year head coach Tricia Binford, junior point guard Darian White and sophomore Lexi Deden addressed the media.
