Lady Griz press conference: NAU ends Montana’s season in Big Sky quarterfinals

No. 5 Northern Arizona used a 16-0 run spanning the end of the first half and the beginning of the second half to earn a lead it would not give up in a 68-65 win over No. 4 Montana in the second quarterfinal of the Big Sky Tournament on Tuesday in Boise, Idaho.

NAU head coach Loree Payne, senior Lauren Orndoff and junior Khiarica Rasheed along with Montana head coach Shannon Schweyen, senior McKenzie Johnston and sophomore Abby Anderson addressed the media following the game.
