On Saturday, Sacramento State came into Washington-Grizzly Stadium and posted their first win in program history, 28-21 against a Montana team that has now lost two straight Big Sky Conference games.
The Hornets’ dual-quarterback system crossed up Montana, gaining more than 460 yards and scoring 28 points against a defense that allowed seven points per game in its first three outings combined this year.
Sac State is now 3-0 in Big Sk play, 4-2 overall. Following the win, Sac State head coach Troy Taylor (center), quarterback Jake Dunniway (center) and linebacker Marcus Hawkins addressed the media. Montana head coach Bobby Hauck and senior linebacker Jace Lewis also recapped the game.
