No. 9 Idaho bounced back from its first Big Sky Conference loss two weeks ago (23-21 to Montana) to post a 24-21 win over No. 2 Montana State on October 28, 2023 at the Kibbie Dome. Idaho possessed the ball for more than 41 minutes and Hayden Hatten’s touchdown with 2:47 left proved to be the difference as the Vandals moved to 4-1 in Big Sky play, 6-2 overall.
The loss snaps Montana State’s 13-game winning streak against Big Sky opponents and drops MSU to 4-1 in Big Sky play, 6-2 overall.
Following the game, MSU head coach Brent Vigen and junior defensive end Brody Grebe addressed the media following the loss.
