THE REPLACEMENT
Marcus Fulcher

The easiest prediction on this list to make, as Fulcher has been in Sac State’s running back rotation since 2019 and just had a season that looked eerily similar to Skattebo’s pre-breakout 2021 campaign – 74 carries, 464 yards (6.3 yards per carry), eight touchdowns and a third-team all-Big Sky nod. The 5-9, 215-pound senior from Fresno has also been one of the better punt returners in the conference each of the last two seasons. He’s got plenty of juice, and a Skattebo-like aversion to going down on the first hit.
“He’s a great player,” Sac State tight end Marshel Martin said on Nuanez Now. “I honestly love the way he runs the ball, like he don’t want nobody to tackle him. The little juke moves he makes are kind of crazy sometimes. … He leads the younger running backs. All the guys, they look up to him.”
Give him 6‼️
