NATIONAL SIGNING DAY: Wide Receiver Matthew Rensvold

MATTHEW RENSVOLD – wide receiver – Polson High School – Polson, Montana

The Numbers: At 6-foot-4 and 210 pounds, Rensvold was one of the most sought after players in Montana. A blend of size and speed, Rensvold developed into a big-play receiver for the Pirates and quarterback Tanner Wilson, who followed his best friend’s commitment to Montana with one of his own. As a senior, Rensvold caught 56 passes for 1,025 yards and 12 touchdowns.

Accolades: Rensvold was a first-team Class A all-state wide receiver in addition to his selection as a Northwestern A receiver and linebacker. Rensvold was also voted as the conference’s defensive player of the year.
