Montana State’s season came to a shocking end as North Dakota State blocked an extra point in overtime to emerge with a 35-34 win in Bozeman in the 2nd round of the FCS playoffs. Montana State’s season ends with an 8-4 record and did not make the FCS Final Four for the first time since 2018.

Since the season ended, six Bobcats have entered the NCAA Transfer Portal, including All-American OL Rush Reimer & Omar Aibedion plus All-American DT Sebastian Valdez.
