Southern Utah University 2016 recruiting class

on

Cedar City, Utah – The Thunderbird football team unveiled their most recent recruiting class on Wednesday afternoon as National Signing Day swept the college football landscape.

In total, the recruiting class had 25 players, with 15, or 60% of the class hailing from the state of Utah.

Quarterbacks transferring from BYU have found a lot of success in the past for the Thunderbirds, with Brad Sorensen and Ammon Olsen both having extremely successful careers.  QB McCoy Hill will have an opportunity to carry on that tradition as he is transferring to SUU from BYU.

The Thunderbird recruiting class also features a lot of local flare, with Michael Musto coming in from Canyon View High School, Justice Alo coming in from Desert Hills, Zak Harrah, Bret Barben and Jaden Harrison all coming from Dixie High School, and Dallas McRae from Diamond Ranch.
