WATCH: Big Sky men’s semifinal – EWU rips Montana, advances to title game


In the second semifinal of the Big Sky Conference men’s basketball tournament, No. 2 Eastern Washington ripped No. 6 Montana 78-50 to advance to the championship for the third tourney in a row.

EWU lost to the Grizzlies in consecutive tournament title games but beat UM three times in row this season. Jacob Groves scored 21 points, Tanner Groves added 18 points and the Eagles won going away.

Following the game, EWU head coach Shantay Legans, Tanner Groves (left) and Jacob Groves along with Montana head coach Travis DeCuire and junior Cam Parker addressed the media.
