In the fifth and final game of a jam-packed Wednesday, the Idaho women’s basketball team used a strong second half to post an 80-64 win over Montana State to move into Friday’s championship game.

Idaho overcame a 38-32 halftime deficit thanks to a 14-0 run to open the third quarter. Beyonce Bea scored 12 of her game-high 21 points during the frame. Natalie Klinker had 19 points and 11 rebounds for an Idaho team that will face Idaho State on Friday afternoon for the league title.

Following the game, Idaho head coach Jon Newlee, Bea (right) and Klinker along with Montana State head coach Tricia Binford, senior Tori Martell (left) and sophomore Darian White addressed the media.
