MONTANA PRESS RELEASE
Head coach Travis DeCuire announced on Monday that junior forward Donaven Dorsey will miss the entire 2017-18 season with hip injuries.
The two injuries will require two separate surgeries. The first was performed on Oct. 23, in Seattle. No timetable has been set for the second surgery.
The news was first reported by The Missoulian.
Dorsey remains fully enrolled in his classes at the University of Montana and is expected to return to Missoula in the future. Dorsey is a transfer from the University of Washington. After playing in 55 games over two seasons for the Huskies, he transferred to Montana where he redshirted in 2016-17, per NCAA transfer rules.
