Big Sky women’s hoops presser – ‘Cats surges past NAU, into NCAA Tourney

Second-seeded Montana State endured a 17-0 Northern Arizona run to rally and then sprint into the NCAA Tournament with a 75-64 win over the fourth-seeded Lumberjacks in the Big Sky Conference women’s basketball Tournament championship game in Boise, Idaho on March 11, 2022.

MSU will make its second tournament appearance under 17th-year head coach Tricia Binford.

Following the game, Binford, junior forward Kola Bad Bear (left) and tournament MVP Darian White plus NAU head coach Loree Payne addressed the media.
