Visiting Montana for the first time made a big impression on Johnny Barthel.

The offensive lineman from Bellevue, Washington, committed to the Montana Grizzlies Monday, just days after setting foot in the state for the first time on an official visit over the weekend.

Barthel said that Missoula reminded him of a bigger Sun Valley, Idaho, where he learned how to ski as a kid.
