With wins on Saturday, Eastern Washington, Montana State, Montana and Portland State all moved up in the rankings while Cal Poly fell from the polls.

Eastern pulled out a 28-20 win at Sacramento State to win for the second straight week after an 0-2 start. EEWU moved into the top 10 in both the FCS STATS and FCS Coaches’ polls. The Eagles come in at No. 9 in both polls this week.

Montana State burst out to a 21-0 lead and never looked back, burying Cal Poly 45-28 to bounce back from last week’s loss at EWU. The Bobcats moved up from No. 15 to No. 11 in the STATS Poll and from No. 13 to No. 11 in the coaches’ poll. The loss dropped previously ranked Cal Poly (20/22) from both polls.

The Montana Grizzlies notched eight sacks in a 23-14 win over Northern Arizona to bounce back after two straight losses. The Griz moved from No. 14 to No. 13 in the STATS poll and from No. 15 to No. 12 in the coaches’ poll.

Portland State remained the only undefeated team in the Big Sky Conference with a 31-0 win over Division II Western Oregon to move to 3-0. The Vikings moved up one spot to No. 16 in the STATS poll and two spots to No. 16 in the coaches poll.

For a third straight week, Jacksonville State is No. 1 in the STATS poll and Coastal Carolina is No. 1 in the coaches’ poll.
