Montana scored 31 unanswered points on the way to a 34-24 win over Southeast Missouri State in the first round of the FCS Playoffs on November 26, 2022.

The Grizzlies (8-4) head to third-seeded North Dakota State (9-2) for first matchup between the FCS powers since 2015. NDSU has claimed nine of the last 10 fall national championships.
