TUCKER ROVIG: Quarterback – Mountain View High – Meridian, Idaho

The Numbers: The 6-foot-5, 205-pounder led the Mavs to a 22-3 record in two years and the program’s first state title. He finished his senior season with 2,747 total yards and 40 total TDs. As a junior, he threw for As a junior, he threw for 2,363 yards and 21 touchdowns in leading his team to an Idaho 5A runner-up finish.

Accolades: Rovig earned 5A Southern Idaho Conference first-team honors twice. His performance garnered interest from Idaho, Portland State, Yale and Montana State. He was the first commitment for MSU’s class of 2017. The three-time Academic All-Conference is a three-time qualifier for the Idaho 5A State Track Championships.

Academics: Physical therapy

Rovig on Montana State: “I felt like it was a great fit… When I got there, I fell in love with Bozeman, just the whole environment of the whole city. The big thing with me is the relationship with the coaching staff. I felt like with Montana State, I have the best relationship there is with their coaches.”
