The Numbers: The 6-foot-3, 310-pound offensive guard is a 2-star recruit who is the rare four-year prep starter. He started 46 games in his high school career, winning two state championships. He played for Jeremy Thielbahr, an assistant for Mike Kramer at Montana State from 2004 until 2006.

The Accolades: McKnight started for two years next to Montana State junior center Alex Neale in high school. McKnight was a four-time All-Metro League honoree and the 3A Metro Mountain division’s Offensive Lineman of the Year as the Crusaders reached the semifinals for the fifth consecutive season in 2016. He held offers from Air Force and Idaho before choosing Montana State.

Academics: Undecided

McKnight on Montana State: “I really liked the school, the season was coming to an end and I felt that was the right place for me. I love the outdoors aspect of it. The football field is awesome and the surrounding area. I loved the downtown, the main drag, the whole town.”

Film: Brody McKnight Highlights

Coach Choate on McKnight: “Brody is a very decorated offensive lineman who comes from a tremendous program, Eastside Catholic High School, the same high school as (current Bobcat offensive lineman) Alex Neale. They won a state championship his junior year. He’s an interior offensive lineman who is very physical, was a multi-year starter. He’s a big, mature kid right now who can come in and add not only size and strength to our offensive line but also depth.”
